With extreme sadness I share with you news of the sudden and unexpected passing of my uncle, Rabbi Shaya Schtroks.
Rabbi Schtroks was a 6th grade teacher in the Yeshiva in Morristown for the past 27 years. For the last 6 years, he was married to my mother's twin-sister, Suri, may she live and be well.
This past Saturday night he suddenly passed away in his sleep. He was 55.
