Purim Schedule

Purim is here, and there is so much to do. Here's all you need to know.

Thursday, Fast of Esther, February 21 
Pre-Purim fast day, a day of prayer, commemorating the fasting that the Jews did, before Esther risked her life to save her people. We also give Machatzit Hashekel (Half-Shekel) today.
Fast times: 5:21am - 6:06pm

This year we have a Shabos between the fast and Purim.

Shabbos, February 23
6:22pm: Shabbos ends
6:45pm: Evening Services & Havdalla
7:00pm: Megilla Reading. A brand new animated comic slideshow will accompany the reading.

Sunday, Purim, February 24 
There are four special Mitzvos for this day: 1) Hear the megilla, 2) share gifts of food, 3) give charity, and 4) enjoy a special Purim feast. (Click here for the Purim mega-site ).

We will have a Megilla Reading at 7:30am @ Chabad.
